carrot top went to get my hair cut, coloured and treated yesterday at dry cut. had only ever been once before, new year's eve of 2003. sat down and james the stylist looked at me, frowned before his face lit up in recognition. "you've been here before!" "yeah. wow, u remember..." "of i course i remember laaa... you just came back from australia is it?" "wow... u rEALLy have a good memory." "i always remember pretty girls. you came in last december." if only i had a memory like that. i utterly HATE the colour. i never learn. NEVER let a chinese stylist choose your haircolour. or risk walking around with reddish orange hair, fearing to face your reflection in the mirror. i tried hiding from all the kickboxing crew. it didn't work. mike and mark both tried to reassure me it didn't look all that bad. pffffft. "i hate the colour! it's sooo... BRIGHT!" "wat's wrong with it? ok wat." "it looks soooo... AH LIAN!!" there. i said it. "i'm an ah lian!" oH mY gOd the last few weeks have run straight past me like a bullet train. between bali, partying and chinese new year... it's been MAD. absolutely MAD. thus is my justification for not blogging in donkey's years. JEEEEEPERRRSSS.... achievements over the last 3 days : paid my godmother a visit pigged out shamelessly on shabu shabu (7 years of deprivation) bonded with darling godsister in a non kinky way met a random guy through sms thanks to my godsister. randomness i can do without! grocery shopping with stepmom. more bonding? family dinner which i abandoned early to go to cam's place for a gambling session. i suddenly love blackjack excellent bak kut teh for lunch with fellow alkies. satisfaction = absolute! paying a visit to the kickboxers. been skipping my classes. oops. cooked for parent's friends who are coming tomorrow. may the lord be kind to them.
