i hear them whispering...

who, you say? the possums, of course! they're whispering, "oh no. that crazy woman's back!"

yes. the crazy woman was very convinced she ran over another possum two nights ago. guilt-stricken (well no, not really... they're stupid) she HAD to check to see if the evidence was lying on the ground, flattened and splattered.

fortunately for her conscience (which was on vacation anyway), there was no evidence of the incident ever happening.

conclusion = no possums were killed in the making of this story.

meanwhile... i had organised for a lunch with angela, her mum - mumma J, and mumma G in town. unfortunately, due to circumstances, lunch ended up being the four of us hurrying to the bakery to grab pies and pasties for the matinee - the knockdown of angela's old house.

it's quite an experience watching a house being knocked down by a thingamajig. it's amazing how easy it is to destroy months of hardwork put into building something. angela's dad obviously thought it'd be fun to have a go at knocking down one of the chimneys. boys and big toys... *sigh*

things to do in the next 10 days:

- finish off scarf
- fix earrings
- make earrings
- make bracelet
- learn to solder
- paint
- learn to make jump rings
- finish packing my room

oh dear.
